DAF – What does it all mean?

April 29, 2026

We here at Ferrada have, since our inception, knew we had to focus on designing our wheels to push the level on what we could do with various levels of concavity.  It wasn’t until the team over at Mopar introduced the widebody kits as factory on the new Challenger and Charger at the time. For a short time, you couldn’t get a set of aftermarket wheels for those cars unless you specifically went forged. Ferrada saw this gap, and immediately launched into the design of the first two DAF wheels, the CM1 and CM2, both DAF.

Now what is DAF? During a marketing meeting when we were coming up with branding for these wheels, one of our astute marketing team members blurted out mid meeting that they were “Deep as F***k” and the lore stuck.

It wasn’t just the concavity on these wheels that needed to some extra attention though. Knowing that these wheels would be going on some high performance vehicles, we had to keep that aspect in mind. The solution? Introducing our newest fitment to our Forge8 process, resulting in a lighter, yet stronger wheel design.

Maximum Concavity, and maximum depth, but still a refined and bold style. Ready for any obstacle encountered on the road.

As the years progressed, more and more Mopar products came fitted with their widebody flares, so it was only necessary that we evolved our offerings in the DAF fitments. Pictured here a set of our FR10s in Obsidian Black in 22×12

Offering even our most premium finishes in these fitments as well, like this Challenger on a set of our Brushed Cobre FR9s in 20×12 all around.
